L size fits most average adult heads up to 23 inches / 58 cm.

XL size fits larger heads up to 25 inches / 63–64 cm and is also suitable for thick or voluminous hair.

M size fits smaller heads up to 22-23 inches, not suitable for thick or voluminous hair.

If you are between sizes or prefer a roomier fit, choose the larger size.
